If you accept the fact that wars, revolution and terrorism are
at least partially caused by inequity in the world,

 then the principle of democracy, which gives each person
an equal vote, is a good thing.


 

And if democracy is a good thing,
then dictatorships are a bad thing.



So increasing democracy in the world
will increase world peace.
 



 

So we need to spread Democracy


Spreading democracy can best be accomplished when
democracies join together in the effort.  So where do
these democracies meet?
 

Not the United Nations.

The UN is an un-democratic organization.  Since key members are actually dictatorships, it is naive to expect the United Nations to spread democracy.  When dictatorships are given a chance to vote, they vote NO on democracy.
 


             

       

Totalitarian governments lack the legitimacy necessary to represent the citizens.  Allowing un-democratic countries to vote in the UN is a gross injustice to all.
 


For example when a country like China is allowed to influence world policy, this comes from the will of a dictatorship, not the will of the Chinese people.  So the United Nations does a grave injustice to the Chinese people.
 

 

A different approach is needed.


The most significant world organization must have
democracy at it's core.  The only membership requirement is to be
quantifiably democratic as judged by one's peer nations.
